A jewel among drinks. Prostějovská režná was born from Prostějov classic režná and contains 35% alcohol. It is made from 6 selected herbs, the main one being anise the same as in the Classic režná. Aniseed has a healing fragrance, has stimulating effects, quickly energizes, encourages appetite, improves digestion, helps with breathing difficulties and encourages male passions. Thus, the Prostějov aniseed is rightly considered a panacea from the very beginning of its Prostějov production. A jewel among drinks. Based on the original recipe, it is still produced from eleven selected herbs, spices and seeds. An important ingredient are the aromatic and healing spices of anise. It has a stimulating effect, quickly energizes, improves digestion, and that is why aniseed is considered a panacea. The alcohol content is 40%.
The recipe is from the late 17th century, when the owner of the Green Tree Distillery was a pharmacist Michael Storch. He cleverly combined his medical knowledge and his wine making know how and thus a brandy of rye came to the world, which is called "ryž" in Moravia. By playing around with this colloquial expression the original Czech name for this beverage was born = režná.
